WINE AND SURROUNDINGS

THE TUSCAN EXCELLENCES

THE TUSCAN EXCELLENCES

WINE AND SURROUNDINGS

There are many Tuscan Excellencies among Producers, Oenologists, Wineries and  then the wine shops that distribute it to the public and many other operators and professionals who have made wine great

in Tuscany, in Italy and in the world. Our choice, however, was to mention and give visibility to small producers and to all those who operate in niche markets, in the various channels and sectors.

People who, precisely because of their commitment and their competence, still make a great contribution to the dissemination and information, on wine and its responsible consumption.

IL PRODUTTORE CHE CI PIACE

azienda-agricola-illebbio-home1-1536x717_edited.jpg

THE LEBBIO

A few steps from the "City of the Hundred Towers" where the hills lie in the frames of a generous land, the Azienda Agricola Il Lebbio is one of the companies that offer daily efforts and loving care in the production of wine.
The company takes its name from a small plant that grows spontaneously in a large part of the territory. It boasts an almost total exposure to the south, "sunny", which allows the grapes to reach optimal ripeness. The Niccolini family, thanks to its multi-generational experience in the wine sector, produces wines of excellent quality using adequate technology.

The Vineyards

The cultivated vineyards are mainly Vernaccia, Trebbiano, Sangiovese, Canaiolo, Malvasia as well as Colombana, Colorino, Ciliegiolo, Merlot, Cabernet-Sauvigno and Montepulciano.
The pruning, the thinning, the selection of the bunches take place in a traditional way in full respect of the environment and the cycles of nature. For us, being good custodians of this territory means creating the best possible wines from our vineyards.

The Cellar

The company has a cellar organized for the vinification of the grapes produced in its own vineyards, underground rooms for aging the wines in oak barrels and for aging in the bottle. The wines produced are of excellent quality thanks to the experience and work of the Niccolini Brothers who, together with respect for traditions, make use of the most modern technologies and the collaboration of the oenologist Luciano Bandini
